A great guy who has personally jived on an Ibiza dance floor foam party. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg above the bubbles, I’m sure.

...was at the 43T-ATL meeting at the Euclid Avenue Yacht Club on 2/25. She brought along her pal Aaron066. She’s a nice person to meet and hopefully, along with Aaron066, corralled a bunch more members into joining 43T while at their birthday soiree at Dark Horse afterwards.

...she expectedly walked by my huge 4” x 2” sign for 43Things at the Euclid Avenue Yach Club. Luckily she decided to sit with me anyway and the 3rd Monthly 43T-ATL meeting was kicked off.

She’s a cool person to meet and is well on her way to founding the Push-One-Button Faction of flickr photographers.

I met Austin at the 43T meetup at the EAYC yesterday. He is a really cool person, and I’d enjoy hanging out with him more. Thanks for organizing the meetup!

...I was sitting across two tables of interweaving conversation and didn’t get to engage him about his Thing on learning to Surf—which I will be attempting next summer at a clinic in FL. Information design in media rocks and I hope to get the chance to learn more about his creative technical pursuits when we next cross paths (or surfboards).

What can I say….One of the only people I actually got a chance to talk to, and so kind as to stick around another 30 minutes for my return. A very thoughtful, and kind person who I would like to get to know better!

...he was telling me about his research in the universe of electrical engineering, where he’s a grad student at one of the top engineering institutions on the planet. From looking at his list of Things, I think there’s so much more—philosophically and culturally especially—to learn about him and I’m looking forward to the next opportunity.
